GE&R's Patented Line of Magnetocaloric Materials are the lowest cost and highest performance Magnetocaloric Materials available on the market! We can synthesize magnetocaloric compositions with a peak performance at any temperature between 10K (-265C) up to 330K (50C), and we can synthesize these within +/-5 degrees of the temperature you need. Please contact us if your desired peak temperature is not listed in the drop down menu and we can provide a quote.
All products come with a Certificate of Analysis.
The following size ranges are available for the Powder: 700-1000um, 500-700um, 300-500um, 150-300um, 75-150um, 45-75um, and 25-45um. IF YOU ORDER THE POWDER - Please indicate in the notes the size range that you want.
GE&R magnetocaloric materials have excellent stability and performance in magnetic systems. Bulk pricing is also available. These products will typically ship within 1-2 weeks of receipt of your order.

Characteristics
- Compositions with DSmax temperature (max change in entropy) can be synthesized at any temperature between -265C up to 50C (10-330K)
- Second Order Only Reversible Transitions (these behave like elemental Gd - no cracking or hysteresis!)
- Material performance stable in air. You may see some tarnishing of the material surface overtime due to slow oxidation, but performance is stable. If you expose these materials to water based fluids it is recommended to add an anti-corrosion additive to the solution to prevent oxidation. You can also store the materials in vacuum or inert gas when not in use.
